What personal information does this hub collect?

The Done Right Safety hub is a set of static pages with no accounts, no comments, no forms and no shopping cart, so it collects no personal information that you type in. The web server records ordinary request logs, and any analytics in use records page views without identifying you personally.

Who we are

This website is hub.donerightsafety.com.au. It is published by Done Right Safety, the trading name of DRS Industries Pty Limited, ABN 49 101 465 418, an Australian family owned supplier of safety equipment, PPE and workwear based in Sydney, New South Wales.

What we collect

The pages on this hub are static files. There are no user accounts, no logins, no comment forms, no newsletter signup and no checkout, so there is nothing on this site for you to submit personal information to.

Our web server keeps standard access logs. A log entry records the address you requested, the date and time, the response code, the amount of data sent, your browser's user agent string and your IP address. Logs are used to keep the site running, to find broken links and to detect abuse.

If you email us, we hold your email and whatever you write in it for as long as we need it to answer you and to keep a record of the enquiry.

Cookies and local storage

This hub sets no advertising cookies and no cross site tracking cookies.

Your browser may store a single preference locally for the light or dark theme setting, so the site looks the same next time you visit. That preference stays in your browser and is never sent to us.

Any analytics we run is described in the next section. If we ever add something that needs your consent, we will ask before it runs.

Analytics

We measure how the hub is used so we can improve the guides. The specific analytics tool in use, and whether it sets a cookie, is stated here on the live site before launch, and this section is kept accurate.

We do not sell or share analytics data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

Content from other websites

Pages on this hub do not embed third party videos, maps, fonts, scripts or widgets. Everything the page loads is served from this site.

Guides link out to product pages on our store at donerightsafety.com.au. Those links carry tracking parameters so we can see which guides send people to the store. Once you follow a link, the destination site's own privacy policy applies.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for marketing.

We share information only with the service providers who host this site and handle our email, and only so far as they need it to provide those services, or where we are required to by law.

How long we keep it

Server logs are kept for a short operational period and then rotated and deleted.

Email correspondence is kept while it is useful for answering you and for our business records, then deleted.

What rights you have over your data

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it, except where we are required to keep it for legal, accounting or security reasons.

Email sales@donerightsafety.com.au and tell us what you need. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

If you are not happy with how we handle a request, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Where your data is sent

This site is hosted on a server in Australia. Any analytics or email provider we use may process data outside Australia, and we choose providers that handle personal information to a comparable standard.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version is published on this page with a new last updated date. Material changes are described in a short note at the top of the page.
