How do you choose PPE for a job?
Start with the hazard, not the product. Identify what can hurt someone in the task, check which standard covers protection against that hazard, then shortlist gear whose listing names that standard and fits the person wearing it. Comfort matters, because PPE that is uncomfortable comes off.
What does the finder actually give you?
The finder gives you a shortlist of buying guides and category pages, nothing more. It does not price anything, it does not check stock and it does not certify that a product suits your site. Use it to narrow the field, then check the specification table on each guide.
Can the finder decide what you are legally required to wear?
No. PPE selection follows a risk assessment under the work health and safety laws in your state or territory, with the published standard and the manufacturer's instructions as the reference. In New South Wales that is SafeWork NSW and the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2017 (NSW).
